In the interest of transparency under the EU AI Act, the following information explains the origin of the visual content used on this website and the potential use of generative AI in its creation or modification.

This website uses licensed stock imagery. Some images may have been created or modified using generative AI. For content obtained from third-party providers, reliable information about its origin is not available to us in every case.

Where labelling is required or considered appropriate for transparency purposes, visual content is accompanied by one of the following notices displayed directly with the relevant image. The label used depends on the extent of AI involvement and the information available regarding the image’s origin:

  • “AI-generated”: The image was created entirely or substantially using generative AI.
  • “Partially modified using AI”: Pre-existing visual content was materially altered using generative AI.
  • “Edited with AI assistance”: AI was used to assist with image editing without materially changing the image’s essential meaning.
  • “Illustrative image – may be AI-generated”: The image is used solely for illustrative purposes, and reliable information about possible AI generation by the third-party provider is unavailable.
