DEUTZ AG – GUI harmonization for CALM

• CONZE has helped DEUTZ AG harmonize the user interface of its internal application “CALM”—a data set management tool for engine development.
• Development of a compulsory style guide as a foundation: consistent rules for colors, typography, sizes, spacing, and alignment, as well as the definition of key corporate design elements.
• Revision of the entire UI based on the style guide: around 40 screens (main screen and several dialog boxes) were adapted in accordance with the guidelines. Implementation of reusable styles in the code (e.g., buttons, text boxes, data grids) to permanently increase expandability and maintainability.
• Facelift through a customized, modern “Outlined” icon set (approx. 140 icons) with color variants; initially provided as ICO, additionally as SVG.
• Continuous coordination with development for feasibility testing and rapid implementation.
