Ginzinger – Patient Monitor Simulation
CONZE developed a patient monitor simulation for displaying and analyzing key vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation (SpO₂), end-tidal carbon dioxide (etCO₂), respiratory rate, and temperature, based on the GELin embedded Linux platform from Ginzinger .
The project aimed to implement a high-performance, graphically sophisticated GUI based on an i.MX 8M Plus single-board computer (SBC) with GELin Embedded Linux for a critical system.
As part of the development process, CONZE implemented individual UI components to enable the precise and smooth real-time display of physiological signals. Particular attention was paid to optimizing the performance of the graph display with parallel animation sequences to ensure a consistently high frame rate (FPS), even at high data rates.
Challenges
Optimizing performance for simultaneous real-time animations.
