Löwenstein Medical – GUI for a neonatal ventilator

  • In collaboration with Löwenstein Medical, CONZE developed the graphical user interface (GUI) for the LEONI 4 ventilator, which is used for both invasive and non-invasive applications in intensive care units for premature babies, newborns, infants, and children.
  • Develop individual UI components, incorporating UI logic.
  • UI für:
    • Device Configuration: Setup and specialization for patients, including pre-configurable profiles for clinics and organizations.
    • Operation: Live monitoring of vital parameters with a comprehensive alarm system and guided troubleshooting, including visualization, help texts, and a treatment algorithm.

Challenges

  • Smooth visualization and interaction, even with predefined embedded hardware.
  • Implementation of safety-related requirements and complex alarm logic.
  • Proper presentation of various units and conversions of vital parameters for different regions (e.g., percentage by volume and pressure in pascals).

Technologies
